I Need Your Opinion
Filed under: News;by165 CommentsI get a quite a few emails from people who have used my program as well as others who have just picked up a few tips from me here or there. And it’s motivating to hear that my work is touching the lives of so many people who I’ve never met personally.
But I also get some emails from skeptics and those who have been misinformed about their health that can’t quite seem to let go of their false thought processes and they refuse to accept that they do have the choice to heal themselves and regain their health.
That’s why I wanted to get your opinion on an email that I recently received because I was a little taken aback by the nature of it, especially after the conversation that I had prior with this gentleman…
I got an email from a man named Johnny a couple of days ago who sounded genuinely concerned about overcoming his gut problems and multiple chronic symptoms. And after taking the time to give him my personal advice, I wasn’t prepared for the email he sent me last night.
Here’s the email he sent me…
And while I truly love helping, I want to know if you feel the same way as Johnny or not.
To be completely honest, I don’t let personal attack’s like Johnny’s bother me one bit. I’ve been doing this too long and have helped too many people that I know there’s no truth to what he says.
And to answer your question Johnny, I’m not a clinical researcher. I prefer to focus on helping people turn their health around and get back to enjoying everything that life has to offer using known health principles that continue to provide the best results.
What I want to know from my readers, those who have applied my techniques, and those who have used my Leaky Gut Cure program…
– Do you agree with Johnny and his opinion about me?
– Do you think what I share or teach is nothing but “snake oil” like he says?
(by the way, per our previous email Johnny has not tried anything that I teach and has been seeing doctor after doctor who have done nothing but put him on different drugs which have only made his problems worse.)
I really want your opinion on this…
I value your opinion and it’s your feedback that helps me determine what information, tips, and techniques that I share with you.
Please tell me what you think below… All comments are welcome.

Hi Karen,
I have gotten off the gluten foods and am feeling so much better. I am very happy and grateful I found your website and am taking your advice. I’m not doing everything at this time but what I am doing is working.
Thanks,
Judy
P.S. How’s that little one? -

I don’t think you are selling snake oil. You are a holistic practitioner trying to help people. And there is evidence for leaky gut, just not recognized in coventional medicine. My only feedback is that I think it may take more than 2-3 months for leaky gut to heal. I have read it can take up to a year esp for people who have chronic stress in their lives. It is taking me a long time. That is my only tip. Also, a section on how to pinpoint the culprit of chronic acid reflux may be helpful for people who have it. Thank you for everything Karen!

I am sorry for Johnny, his attitude and openion are completely wrong. If it wasn’t for your help 12 months ago ,I would have been in terrible trouble seriously sick. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please don’t give up helping people like me,we need your professional openion.Don’t pay attention to people like Johnny. God bless you and yours.

I think it is great what you do! I just stumbled upon your website a few days ago looking for a way to heal a leaky gut most ended up costing so much money. For me, it all started with gluten intolerance, I eliminated gluten and felt way better but, I went to a doctor again because I also developed intolerances to so many other foods. The doctor wanted me to actually go through the gluten challenge, biopsy, & blood tests but never did anything about the problems with everything else! Thankfully, I received an email(from someone else) saying that I most likely also have leaky gut. I am so glad to have found this website so I can finally start trying to get better and without costing a fortune in testing! I think it is great what you do, I think too many other doctors are more concerned about making the most money.

You are not wasting your time. Even with just 4 days of your advice I am feeling so much better and have a tremendous amount of energy. Everyone has to do what feels right for them. Personally I do not believe in western medicine and prefer alternative healing. Everything stems from what we consume and put in our bodies. It’s obvious nutrition plays a huge part so what we eat makes a huge difference. We are natural organisms why would science have anything to do with it. Thank you Karen for all your help and advice-A

Karen some thing to think about. Seems like Mr. John wants to cause trouble.I am trying your system and it works,I am finding the foods that do not agree with me and my intestine pains have gotten much much better plus my hot flashes are not even as severe and farther between. Sorry to say but, John get a life!! Art 🙂

Karen,
You are a blessing to many. What people are saying good or bad is only opinions. What you are doing is a fact! -
T Graves July 15th, 2011 at 02:28
As lzzie already said: Everything stems from what we consume and put in our bodies. You are certainly on the right track. The man has a point though, there needs to be more people in the scientific community doing research on how the foods we eat affects disease. Cancer is on the rise and it doesn’t surprise me the amount of unhealthy food we consume without thinking about it. It saddens me that some in the medical profession are just outlets for pharmaceutical companies. they diagnose ( and sometimes get it wrong) and prescribe drugs which sometimes have the most harmful side effects. I wish someone would do some extensive research. I want to know what foods contain which substances and which foods to definitely avoid for which conditions. I am controlling a potentially debilitating disease with diet, but I need to know much, much more. More research needs to be done, but in the meantime carry on raising awareness – you are doing a great job. When scientists realise that a growing number of people are opting for alternatives to powerful drugs they may sit up and take notice. Presumably, there would be a negative impact on the food and drugs industry which is why I am not holding my breath.

Dear Karen,
I’m a retired Family Practice physician after 20 years office based practice in the midwest. I’m also one of your affiliates. No your not wasting your energy and time! Your doing a great service to your fellow man. Medicine and Big Pharma treat only symptoms, not the cause of our health problems, like you are trying to do. Johnny does have the right to voice his opinion, I just don’t agree with him. Karen remember that you will never be able to please everyone; it’s human nature.
Dr. Scott

I feel that you are sharing knowledge that is very valuable. I have used some tips already. I especially found the tips about bone broth very helpful. What a simple medicine! I even plan to make my own sauerkraut. Keep up the good work Karen!

It is actually sad because this gentleman is probably depriving himself of the very thing that he needs.
While we must never be gullible and must approach every treatment wisely, I get mad, not at people like Johnny but at the professionals and the companies who live off of them, and who feed the public with the kind of disinformation and subtle brainwashing that produces the skepticism of Johnnies.
I have no experience with this specific program (my son is about to start it) but am a second generation believer in alternative approaches to healing and have seen first hand over and over again how an alternative or complementary treatment has worked wonders. Do not be bothered. Maintain your ethical standards at all times and the results will continue to speak louder than any detractor. One day this picture will change as people become more aware.

Keep up the good work Karen! thank you for educating and helping, there should be more people like yourself.
I feel Johnny should be more concerned about the foods people are eating, like the big take out places that target children, unhealthy eating is a major problem no wonder people have so many problems.
Thanks again Karen.

Karen!
Keep up the good work. I know that this program will help me a lot. I don’t need a bunch of scientific evidence to know what you have put your hard work into. 🙂 I already have made the small step of not taking antacids anymore. More steps to follow. 🙂

As a wise man once said… “Experience is the best teacher.”
Keep on sharing what you’ve learned, it’s helpful to many!! 🙂 Don’t let a few skeptics keep you down!

In 1954, I was three months old and had colic. The medical establishment told my mom to forget the breast feeding thing and put me on formula which would be much better for me. Formula was nutritionally complete! They could get me on a schedule, see exactly how much I was eating etc.
In less than a week, I was in the hospital with uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea. I went from a healthy infant with a little colic to a highly allergic child with asthma, headaches, rashes and other health problems that have plagued me all my life. But there was scientific proof that formula was better than mothers’ milk! I was put on one formula after another, all of them scientifically tested and approved, and I have waltzed in and out of the hospital ever since.
In Nov. 2009, I developed yet another weird autoimmune problem, the worst yet, affecting my vision along with major organ systems. I’ve been on prednisone ever since and the docs added methotrexate two months ago. In spite of that treatment, I haven’t been able to sleep at night because of agonizing pain in joints, bones, and muscles. Life just hasn’t been worth living.
7 days ago I decided to try the leaky gut cure. What did I have to lose? What I’ve lost is the pain. Other than normal arthritic joints, all my body pain is gone. It is like a miracle. I can walk again instead of lurching around like Quasimodo. I am able to lie peacefully in bed, totally still and comfortable, without thrashing around in misery. It’s un-freaking-believable. Can’t wait to go back to the rheumatologist and tell him. It will be interesting to see his reaction.
I’ve been so ready to die for the last year and a half. Suddenly I have my life back. Just incredible!

Here are some more good quotes on the subject:
‘Let food be thy medicine, and thy medicine be food.’ – Hippocrates, ca. 460 BC – ca. 370 BC
‘When diet is wrong medicine is of no use. When diet is correct medicine is of no need.’ – Ancient Ayurvedic Proverb
‘He that takes medicine and neglects diet wastes the skill of the physician.’ – Chinese Proverb
‘Stomach: A slave that must accept everything that is given to it, but which avenges wrongs as slyly as does the slave.’ – Emile Souvester, 15 April 1806 – 5 July 1854
‘The doctor of the future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.’ – Thomas A Edison, 11 February 1847 – 18 October 1931

Hi, I do not know enough about this to really say. I do know from experience that doctors like to perscribe medicine that doesn’t cure, it just mask the problem and makes us feel better. I do believe that penicillin does help us, when needed. I also believe that holistic methods are better when you know about them and how to use them. We may not use them when we do not understand how to use it. This is something that you need to use the right amount of to be effective. I have had a doctor tell me that they do not know anything about nutrition and are not taught about nutrition in medical school. Sharing info on what you have learned is good. Having info to back up what you are saying is important as well. This will validate what you are sharing with others.

I had horrible white placque psoriasis all over my scalp, shoulders looked like snow on my clothes all the time. I finally (after 10 yrs visits to my dermatologist) with cortisone shots all over my scalp, methetrexate cancer drugs, and every other prescription scalp drug known to man, shampoos, etc. I decided I had enough, researched psoriasis and it referred heavily to gluten and then my massage therapist kept telling me for two years I had leaky gut and I paid not much attention. My indescribable belching, upset stomach, constipation and general unwell feeling persisted. I took it upon myself to throw away all perscriptions and shampoos. I bought Neutrogena T/Gel shampoo, conditioner. I went on a partial gluten free diet. Within 3 months a vast amount of white placque was gone. I then went to a wellness dr. and asked for an exam. He proceeded to tell me for one thing I had Leaky gut. I thanked him and left. I went back to the internet, got the Leaky gut diet and started on it. What a difference I can’t begin to tell you!!! Johnny needs to do a little more research and be more open minded (Drs love to push drugs, vested interest I think). My scalp is now totally free and non itchy…my indigestion doesn’t always cooperate (i love spicy food, which is pretty much a no no) and I know why. Thanksgiving kind of did me in, I ate to much gluten rolls, pie crust, etc. my own fault. There is so much to be said for the phrase “the body will heal itself”. I don’t believe our bodies were designed to accept all the preservatives, growth hormones, etc. we feed it everyday, so what little I can now do to help myself I will do! I try some organic items and think I will use the organic beef, chicken, eggs, etc. and see the difference even tho it is expensive. I am 74 and starting all this when I am older than dirt (sure wished I had done some of it before).
Good luck all, thanks for listening to me and Kathy keep up the good work.

Greetings Karen
You have my full support on your program, and I like to express my gratitude for all the tips that your are sending. I am a little pressed for the moment but I would like to give you a full report on my condition at a latter date, as it is improving very well.
Many thanks again Karen.
May God truly bless you on what you are doing.Kind regards

Anyone who believes solely in the work of traditional doctors is setting themselves up for more illness and more toxic medications. Today’s medical does not heal only does what it needs to keep you connected to the doctors offices and more pharmaceutical toxic drugs (and is some cases addiction). I am not followiing your program but I listen and learn all I can that pertains to myself and make up my own decisions of what to do. The more you learn the better you can maintain better health. All of this is just my opinion!
-
The techniques and suggestions you share are good ones. I use them in my office all the time. Some people just get pleasure out of being negative, but at least you’ve generated some great comments so you’ve made the best of it!
Blessings,
Dr. Karen Kan -
I feel the program is as effective as the person doing it is diligent. It becomes very blatantly obvious that diet is the the number 1 factor that we control to maintaining control of our health , or in this case regaining control of it. I am doing this diet with a friend who has fibro and have noticed significant improvement in my well being as has she. Been on it for 11 weeks and I have no intention of going back to my old diet and life style.
Im guessing the individual who claims this is snake oil hasnt done the diet/program but is OK with slamming it because thats what some people do best after being disappointed enough times with programs that dont wont. This isnt one of them…it works…and I challenge anyone who says it doesnt to actually do it and then make a decision as to its effectiveness.Keep up the good work Karen!!!

Hi Karen
Since my husband has been on your program he is a different person, no medical doctor has ever identified his problem until I came across your website and immediately realized that he had leaky gut. Until then I didn’t even know there was something like leaky gut.
My husbands health has improved 100%, his blood pressure has come down, his constipation is better, he has much more energy. He says he had forgotten how it felt to feel healthy but now after only 2 weeks on your program he is positive about the future.
Please keep up your good work because we need you desperately.
Healthy people don’t need help that is why they can judge and critisize but sick people like my husband are very thankfull to you for your help.
Keep up the good work PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I view what you’re doing as an educational endeavor…doing some research and sharing your findings. You are not the only person whose opinion I value who would agree that the first place to establish and maintain good health is in the gut. Yes, you have something to sell, but “snake oil”? First time I’ve ever heard eating good food as taking snake oil! Keep doing what you’re doing. You and others will give folks an opportunity to “opt-out” of the national health care system, whatever it ends up being.
I wish more doctors would get on board, too. It’s hard to find a good doctor who is open to alternative/complimentary medical practice. I once read an opinion that I now share…I hire a doctor to work for me…if he/she doesn’t care for me according to the way I want to be cared for, they’re “let go”. -

I completely disagree with this Johnny boy. I have not tried your program yet, but from what I have read in your reports it’s all valuable information. I have had Scalp Psoriasis as well as Arthritis for years and the only thing that doctors do is to give you steroids or any type of pain medication to mask the underlying problem. I asked my dermatologist once if diet had anything to do with my symptoms and he only said NO. I can honestly say that he was totally wrong. With only a week of changing to gluten-free diet and also my lifestyle and following your recommendations, my extreme digestive problems have been disappearing! I am able to fully digestive my food now and my constipation is diminishing. All I can say is that your research is spot on. Diet does play an important role and a change must be done in order to free yourself from the stubborn and yet most troublesome symptoms and diseases. Keep in mind that not everyone is open minded and believe that something like this is too good to be true. Wish Johnny would give himself a second chance in living symptom-free. Keep doing what your doing; there’s far more people saying thank you than anything else.
Thank you and best wishes:) -

Well considering the fact that leaky gut and gut fermentation now have the clinical names intestinal permeability syndrome and dysbiosis an individual has to make the decision whether these conditions can be reversed or do they live the rest of their lives with the condition. I haven’t purchased the program because I couldn’t afford it because I’m under the care of an MD who helped identify the condition many years ago and the money I have available needs to be spent wisely but I have read what you’ve sent me and it all seems fair. My MD seels DVD’s online that lay out the protocols that were established over time.
Leaky gut is the first stage of all bowels disorders I’ve learned and it has been linked to almost every single chronic health condition from psoriasis to Lupus. I mean the PubMed studies are pretty significant. Unfortunaletly the summeries of these studies have been removed from the website because I believe they were way too controversial. The colon is the bodies front line defense to the entire auto immune system. This was well known for decades. It litterally took decades for them to come to the same conclusions others came to in the early stages. This is why only those who practice integrative and fucntional medicine are knowledgable enough to understand how to treat it and these healers know/understand the body has this beautiful ability to heal itself when it’s given the proper tools and enviorment.
The risk you run is by giving advice for a fee. I have absolutely no problem with you making money for your knowledge but you open yourself to attacks and possible liability because you’re capitalizing on it. But consider the fact that an MD has responded to you and she’s given you props. This is a good sign that what you have in your paid for manuals is sound. Like I said I have no clue how you presented the information because I didn’t read the manuals your work but if you were given a tghumbs up and you were healed by a knowledgable healer and you’re presenting what they taught you, you have covered your bases. But part of the protocol requires the proper use of supplements and that’s where it can become a touchy situation becuase we all know supplements not only make expensive urine, they are a complete waste of time and can be poisoness… Right?
Of course I’m kidding but they’ll tell you that supplements, herbs and amino acids are poisoness. This continues to baffle me, that cofactors required to maintain life are dangerous when used in doses higher then the RDA. These dosess are ridiculous to begin with. They were established way back in the 30’s and at the time the levels were called “The minimum amount needed to sustain life”. Think about that for a moment because I have and I’ll continue to use supplements when all is behind me although I will probably use lower doses. The majority are water soluable and the fat soluables require ridiculous amounts to be harmful. I’m taking many times the normal ranges of fat soluable but I am NO WHERE near toxic doses. Amino acids are in our diets everyday in the all of the various foods we eat and the doses needed therapeutically are WELL within safe ranges. Herbs can be tricky but again if you’re advising to use them and you’re MD had you on them the only thing you would need to consider is if the individual is taking medication(s) and do any of the meds react with anything you’re putting out there. Drugs DOT com is an excellent source for checking for potential interactions. I don’t believe there’s a greater resource for potential interactions available but I could be wrong.
I’ll close by saying I wish I could have afforded your guide, it sounded interesting but thankfully I’m lucky enough to be under the care of someone who is extremely skilled with bowel disorders. But based on what little I’ve read, the props from the MD and the overwhelming support you’ve recived from others using the information you provided, you seem golden. It’s sad to say but maybe this Johnny set you up. To go from asking for personal help/attention to attacking you in response. Something is up with that. He either spoke to his MD and his MD convinced him there is no hope or he was on a mission to pin you down through private emails. To be honest, none of what he did makes much sense.

I have to say that I know you are not wasting your time. There will always be skeptics especially when modern medicine itself still avoids natural solutions to todays health problems. My own experience is that I’ve received more help via people such as yourself than I have ever received from the medical system. All my own doctor can offer me is more pills…pills for pain, pills for sleep, pills to counteract the side effects from the other pills. That is not how I want to live my life. I often pick up material such as yours even though it is similar to others that I have in my collection for the chance that there might be just one thing different or something written in such a way that breaks through the mental barrier of the day and helps me stay on track to getting my health back. Often the road back to health is as much about finding someone who understands what you are going through as finding a solution.
Thank-you for your committment to helping others. It is appreciated

Hi,
I have not purchased your full programme, but have read the free downloads and I agree with everything you try to get across to us. There is a huge emerging movement especially amongst respected functional practitioners in the US and alternative practice in the UK and Europe, I am sure the rest of the world too.
One thing that I had really picked up on with your work is the suggestion to alternate foods so that a food sensitive reaction will not be provoked.
It is imperative to heal the intestinal permeability (leaky gut) or auto immune conditions, food sensitivities will develop.
From the age of 19yrs I suffered from chronic cystitis/thrush (overgrowth of candida) cycle of antibiotic overuse – no doubt creating a leaky gut and the went on to develop Rheumatoid Arthritis 17yrs ago-lets face it, it could have been any auto immune disease. A whole scenario of system failure due to the food that I ate.
Babies are born with a leaky gut and breast feeding ensures it seals, so I had I good start in life, I was breast fed (which many aren’t who have issues) but my eating habits, sugar (from grains, potatoes parsnips etc) led to candida overgrowth and the lining of my gut became compromised.I raised the hypothosis of intestinal permeability with my mainstream rheumatologist 16yrs ago and she and my doctor both smiled at me innanely. Last year my rheumatologist (who is at the top of her field here in the UK) said to me “I wish that you could meet our professor here at the hospital who specialise in gastroenterology as he thinks as you do, he believes in Leaky Gut. In fact there is such unequivicle evidence today, the evidence has mounted” I nearly fell from my chair! this was mainstream talking!
Keep on spreading the message -

Hi Karen, I recently found you via google, and have been employing some techniques as set out in your E Books . . . Thanks to you, I have gone from being a drinker of alcohol and a consumer of a very poor processed type diet to now starting the day with my Green and Gold Aussie smoothies, I have made bone broth, and have found an amazing Gluten Free bakery locally. I have become acutely aware of leaky gut symptoms and what I am putting in my body and have subsequently sought out as much material on the subject as possible. I am feeling better, with more energy . . . and my bright blue eyes that have been hiding are back . . . thank you a million times over 🙂 xx

HiKaren
i have been receiving criticism like this for years since swearing by alternative medicine. I don’t need clinical trials when my body heals through many natural protocols I have utilized. I tried desperately to get help through allopathic doctors only to leave their offices in tears realizing they had no clue how to help me. Natural medicine has been life changing for me. I found your website after realizing there was still another level of healing to consider. I have parasites, liver toxicity, candida and heavy metals and couldn’t understand why I got so sick everytime I tried to detox. Having leaky gut and reading about your explanation of detoxing while having leaky gut spoke to me and it explained so much. I believe with everything in me that our body has the innate ability to heal itself if we give it the right nutrients to do so. Thank you for all you do, share, offer and most importantly for educating us. PLease never stop and God Bless. -
CountryBoy January 14th, 2013 at 12:57
There is scientific evidence, anecdotal evidence, and manufactured (snake oil) evidence. Scientific evidence is very expensive, and is conrolled by government (FDA). Snake oil, or manufactured evidence preys on the fearful, naive, and the desperate who will try anything. Anecdotal evidence takes into account that each individual reacts differently and follows the rules differently from the next individual. Often this type of evidence leads to a scientific study, which can lead to a positive, a negative, or a neutral position from the authority. My guess is that Johnny did not really whole-heartedly try your formula for wellness for any amount of time to formulate an honest opinion. However, I will be looking for any scientific evidence to back up your findings, WHILE continueing to use your program. If such scientific evidence appears on the horizion, then, and only then, will I be willing to reach into my pocketbook to support the program. Until then, I will look toward the free information for help.

Anything negative a person has to say about someone with positive natural solutions to health problems, especially with testimonials to support their claims, is not worth bothering with.

How many people have found releaf and/or cure from the quackery of acupuncture. You can bet your last dollar that if this altenative did not work the bean counters for the insurance companys would not be giving their nod to flip for the bill.

Hi !
There are always people who are opposed to the success of others. Do not let that discourage you. Your information and experience are very useful.
You need to continue your mission and do not give up. I apologize for my bad English, I hope you understand me.
Greetings from Zagreb, Croatia -
Hi,
I absolutely don’t agree with Johnny, but I can empathize with his frustration. This is a VERY hard thing to deal with, especially because there is no one-size-fits-all solution — it is highly individualized. And unless you know what you are allergic to specifically, it will be a constant battle to just feel human again. I am just at the very beginning of trying to wrap my hands around what is going on in my life. I’m 36 and pretty healthy — I run 3/4 days a week and don’t eat a lot of junk food. However, my health started to severely decline last August (extreme exhaustion, severe digestive issues, etc), so I decided to cut out wheat on my own, even though my GI doc said he did not suspect a wheat allergy and that I am probably just “stressed out and should consider changing jobs and take Nexium.” I finally went to see an Integrative Medicine doc (who specializes in endocrinology and is an MD) last October. She spent two hours with me — just listening! I don’t know the last time a medical doctor took 10 minutes to listen… Anyway, she ordered an Alcat test and there it was — highly allergic to wheat and dairy, as well as an out-of-control candida issue. In addition, I was highly allergic to a short list of other foods (like soy, shrimp, egg whites, chicken, romaine lettuce, etc). Come December I was fully committed to cleaning my diet of these allergens and staying away from ALL processed foods. I eat ONLY whole foods right now and have severely limited my carbohydrates–and absolutely NO SUGAR in any form, even fruit. I am still having muscle weakness, some bowel issues, brain fog, mood swings — but I am confident that my health will be restored at some point. I say this because there are days when I feel on top of the world — like I could run 50 miles — so I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If Johnny would just give your approach a shot, he might see that light too.

Hi Karen,

Johnny is very uninformed. Just today, I received information from Prevention about a book written by Dr. Elizabeth Lipski, PhD, CCN, CHN, on Leaky Gut Syndrome. Every bit of the information given about this digestive problem [to promote her book] agrees with everything you have said. I have told many different doctors over the years about my many aliments only to be told there’s nothing wrong. They all say “you’re healthy”. I said, “If I’m so healthy, why do I feel so bad.”. Now I know it is because of Leaky Gut. Sooo, YES, keep up the good work. Medical doctors certainly don’t seem to have any answers and are way too quick to perscribe a pill to mask the symptoms instead of looking for a cause. It seems that we are more of an inconvenience to them and they just can’t be bothered to really help. I’m looking forward to starting a Leaky Gut program soon.

I would say it is tough out here in the wild west of medical science. There is science for hire that got ppl in this place in the first place, like saying that grains are part of a healthy diet base. There are also the citizen scientists, who are using historical data some modern research and anecdotal data. This website, Chris Kresser and Bulletproofexec are massive changes in health possible and all of them are offering resources for free that are sufficient to make huge gains in health when when fully applied

Scientific research PLEASE! Most research or “scientific research” as this gentlemen put it is funded by Pharmisutical companies do you think they want us to get it…they’re Legal drug pushers let’s face it. Some of what they do is good but they have lobbyist in Washington and pay off the FDA. Their loyalty is to the almighty buck. You can slant any research to favor what you want the outcome to be. Western medicine is failing us.
I was misdiagnosed with RA which for those of you who don’t know what it is it’s an incurable auto immune disease, a serious illness that was mistake 1. Then I went to this same doctor with what turned out to be a stroke and he sent me home mistake two. So I changed my entire diet to an anti inflamatory diet. Guess what I lost 50 pounds, off my Humira and feel like my old self. Just by changing my diet. Now, I’m researching any link to to the Gut Flora and I have to say it makes sense.
Now, I’m not upset with Jonny he has bought into the propaganda and that’s unfortante. But we all have to understand our bodies and be responsible for them. Don’t take pills unless you have to. Doctors over prescribe antibiotics, we eat garbage (hormones, drugs, pesticides, GMO’s). Why is our grandparents lived longer than we do? Eat whole foods, exercise and be responsible for you’re own health as much as poss. Use you’re Doctor as a guide and partner with a good one.
I wish Jonny the best but please don’t stop what you’re doing because of one. We need more people like you not less!
Now as for Jonny

I absolutely appreciate all of the information that you provide. I have been diagnosed with leaky gut after many years of bloating etc. I now know that I have to stay away from dairy and eggs. Anyway, I’m like a sponge and gather as much information as I can and try different things to see what works for me. Everyone is different and we each have to find what works for us. Drs don’t recognize leaky gut, so good luck with that one Johnny. When you are tired of being sick, you’ll do something about it.

I am 28 and have had stomach problems for about 4 years now. Was diagnosed ibs. Within the last 4 months came down with severe fatigue(absolute necessary afternoon nap), cronic pain to the point where i was almost bed ridden and my hands no longer moved(30% function, 10%strength remained). I went to docs had close to 30 vials of blood taken since then. Had x rays. Tested for common bacteria to lupus. All came back negative. Was put on 500mg naproxen to cope and set up on long lists to see more specialists. The naproxen did nothing but made me worse. Considering i dont take tylenol for pain or any un natural suplements at all. My first thought was how do i get off these pills. I was left to reading the internet and using past exp. I feel like i have read the internet came up with a idea of what could be wrong. I came upon your site. Downloaded the free pdfs and read them and started planning.
